In our multi-device XR spaces, you can connect any type of display to the same virtual scene: CAVEs, Immersive walls, VR/MR headsets, AR glasses and even 2D screens from PCs, phones or tablets.
This offers solutions for very diverse collaboration needs: inviting an overseas subsidiary to connect with their HMD to a design review taking place in the CAVE at HQ, validating the design of an assembly with the presence on their PC of a supplier with no headset available, etc…
TechViz has developed a platform for a streamlined user experience: just organize the meeting as you would do with your usual video conferencing applications, selecting a time slot and invitees. Invitations will be sent to all participants and rendering servers instances can be booked automatically.
At the time of the meeting, all participants can connect directly with their device, entering only a pin code.
Everyone is used to sharing their 2D screen with remote participants. Thanks to TechViz, it is now possible to share a 3D model in real time from any CAD application. Rendering is done on servers and images are securely streamed to the device of all participants.
There is a wide array of possibilities regarding the servers that are used: company servers or public Clouds such as AWS, Azure or else.

If the latency / bandwidth requirements cannot be met or if confidentiality policy prohibits the stream images, TechViz offers another possibility to collaborate remotely.
The 3D model in the virtual scene is opened at various locations with local rendering made. Only the position and actions of each user are shared on a collaboration server, reducing the network needs to the strict minimum.
